Affiliate Disclosure
FTC Disclosure Compliance Rules
In 2015, the Federal Trade Commission released their new rules for Disclosure Compliance.
These rules are set in place to ensure that readers or viewers of web media are aware if the blogger or publisher is sponsored, endorsed, or partnered with a different company. The readers need to know if the content publisher is making money by sharing a link or product.
In compliance with the FTC guidelines, please assume the following about links and posts on this site:
Any/all of the links on topkitchenfaucets.com are affiliate links for which I receive a small compensation from sales of certain items.
Transparency and Reader Trust
We believe in transparency and earning your trust. As an Amazon Associate and a participant in other affiliate programs, we earn commission from qualifying purchases made through our affiliate links. This means that if you click on an affiliate link on our website and make a purchase, we will receive a small commission from Amazon or the respective affiliate partner. This does not affect the price you pay for the product.
Compliance with FTC Guidelines
We are committed to complying with the Federal Trade Commission’s (FTC) disclosure guidelines. These guidelines require that we clearly disclose our affiliate relationships whenever we recommend a product or service.
What Are Affiliate Links?
Affiliate links are special links that allow us to track when someone clicks on them and makes a purchase. When you click on an affiliate link, you are taken to the merchant’s website where you can purchase the product. The merchant then pays us a commission for sending you their way.
Prices Remain Unaffected
The price you pay for a product is not affected by whether you click on an affiliate link or a non-affiliate link. Clicking on an affiliate link does not change the price or anything else for you.
Affiliate Programs We Use
We use two main types of affiliate programs:
-
Amazon affiliate links: topkitchenfaucets.com is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com. Amazon, the Amazon logo, AmazonSupply, and the AmazonSupply logo are trademarks of Amazon.com, Inc. or its affiliates. As an Amazon Associate we earn affiliate commissions from qualifying purchases.
-
Product affiliate links: We also participate in other affiliate programs where we may earn a commission or other compensation for recommending products and services.
Sponsored Content
We do not publish sponsored posts. We want to provide authentic and unbiased information. However, if a company would like to publish sponsored content on our website, we will disclose this clearly in the beginning of the post.
Our Commitment to Product Recommendations
We only recommend products that we use ourselves or that we would recommend to family and friends. We carefully research and evaluate products before recommending them, and we always disclose our affiliate relationships.
Supporting Our Research Efforts
Your purchase helps support our research efforts and allows us to continue providing you with valuable content and recommendations. Thank you for your support!
Additional Notes
- We may use affiliate links in our email newsletters, social media posts, and other channels.
- We may occasionally update this Affiliate Disclosure page to reflect changes in our affiliate relationships or FTC guidelines.
Thank you for understanding!
